Iten, Kenya
Iten sits on the edge of the Great Rift Valley at roughly 2,400 metres, on red-earth roads that climb out of Eldoret into cool highland air. It is a small town organised almost entirely around running, and it has been a training base for Kenyan distance athletes for decades.
This trip puts you inside that daily rhythm for ten days: early morning runs on the dirt roads and forest trails, long unhurried afternoons, meals with the group and evenings at altitude. Sessions are coached, and the week is built so that people arriving from sea level can settle in gradually.
Prime Athlete organises the whole experience end to end — accommodation, meals, the training programme, local transport and a Prime host travelling with the group. You arrive, run, rest and let us handle everything else.

Iten questions
